Mppl. 22/24 Mody Street. Gami House. Fort, Mumbai. Near the GPO. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded Fort is. Mody Street is narrow and always full of people and delivery carts. Gami House is one of those old buildings with high ceilings and heavy doors. We are on the ground floor mostly. It’s a very old area of the city. You can walk to the General Post Office in just a few minutes. The whole place feels like history. We’ve been operating Mppl from here for years. It’s cramped and there are files everywhere. We don’t have air conditioning in every corner. The windows are usually open to let in whatever breeze comes from the sea, but mostly it’s just the city noise. We do a lot of trading and paperwork. It’s the kind of business where you know your neighbors by name. The tea man comes around twice a day. We don't have a website that looks like a tech company. We just have our office and our regular customers. Being in Fort means we are in the heart of things. It’s busy from morning till late. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little, but we just keep working. Mppl isn't a huge name, just a solid one in this neighborhood. We like the grit of Mody Street. It’s where we belong. Not much else to tell. Just a Mumbai office doing its thing day after day without much fuss.
