Morbiwala Sweets

We’ve been here at Ashahpura Estate 7 in Ghatkopar West for a while now. Most days start early because making sweets takes a lot of time and you can't really rush it if you want it to come out right. The milk arrives and then the stoves get lit. It gets pretty hot in the back. People know us as Morbiwala Sweets, but mostly they just drop in because they’re passing through the estate. It’s a busy spot. We mostly just keep busy with the orders. Some days are much more crowded than others, especially when there's a holiday coming up. We don't really do much advertising or anything fancy. Just a small shop with glass counters full of whatever we made that morning. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the afternoon, and that’s just how it goes. My nephew helps out behind the counter when he isn't busy with his own stuff. We try to keep things clean and simple. You won't find anything too strange here, just the usual stuff people like to eat when they want something sweet. Ghatkopar West is a loud place, always something happening outside the door. We just stay inside and keep the trays filled. If you are walking around Ashahpura Estate, you will see us there at number 7. It isn't a huge place, but it works for what we need. We've known some of our customers for years now. They come in, say hello, get their box, and go.
