Modern Engineering & Spring Co

Modern Engineering & Spring Co is located in Sona Udyog Estate, which is on P P Road in Andheri East. We are at unit number 11. If you know Andheri, you know how busy Sona Udyog Estate can get during the day. There are trucks coming in and out, and the sound of machines is pretty much constant. We make springs. It’s what we’ve always done. It is greasy work and our hands are usually dirty by lunch time. We have a few old machines that still run better than the new ones we bought a few years back. The estate itself is a bit of a maze if you are coming here for the first time. We have been in this spot for years, so we know all the neighbors. It is not a shiny office with glass walls. It is a workshop. We have benches covered in tools and coils of wire everywhere. Usually, the fan is humming in the corner to keep us cool. We deal with all kinds of engineering bits besides just the springs. People from around the area stop by when they need something specific made or fixed. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It is just us working on the floor. The traffic on P P Road is always a mess in the evenings, so we usually stay a bit late to let it clear out. It's just a regular shop doing regular work.
