We spend most of our time here at Modern Cargo Services Pvt Ltd dealing with a lot of moving parts. It gets pretty busy when the trucks are coming in and out, though the address listed as Na makes it sound like we are nowhere, we are definitely somewhere. The office is usually full of papers and people on phones trying to figure out where things are currently sitting. It’s not a fancy place but we keep things moving as much as we can. Some days are slower than others. Usually, in the morning, someone brings in tea and we look at the schedules. It is a lot of logistics to handle and sometimes the computers act up which makes things take longer. We have been doing this for a bit now and we know the routines. The desks are a bit cluttered with folders and old receipts. You see a lot of different people coming through the doors here. Every day brings a new set of boxes or containers that need to get to where they are going. We don't really have a big sign or anything but the work keeps us in our chairs until late most evenings. It is just the way the cargo business goes. We stay focused on the tasks and try to make sure nothing gets left behind in the warehouse area. We often have to double check the manifests because even a small mistake can cause a big delay later on. The fans hum in the background while we work and we just try to keep a steady pace throughout the day. It’s just us doing our jobs.
