Modatex Fabrics LLP is located right in the middle of the bustle at 119 Milan Shopping Centre. If you know Mumbai, you know how the Milan Subway Road gets during the day. It is always busy with people and cars moving through. Our little spot is at number 119, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Most days are spent handling fabric rolls and talking to people who come into the centre for their supply. Being in Mumbai 400054, we are part of a very active commercial hub. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s okay because work keeps us moving. You can hear the sounds of the road all day from our shop. The shopping centre itself has its own character, with lots of small businesses all packed together. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It's just a shop with shelves full of materials. Sometimes the subway gets flooded when it rains heavily in Mumbai, which changes the whole day's rhythm, but we just carry on with our business as usual. We know our neighbors and the other shopkeepers around here pretty well by now. If you're walking down Milan Subway Road, it's hard to miss the shopping centre. We are just one of the many hardworking businesses in this Maharashtra neighborhood, trying to keep things running smooth and getting the fabrics out to whoever needs them. It's a tight space with lots of fabric, but it works.
