Mital Footwear

We are tucked away in unit 16 of the Madhuban Industrial Estate. If you know Mahakali Road in Andheri East, you know it gets pretty busy around here. Mostly, our days are spent dealing with boxes and checking the latest batches of shoes that come through. It's not a fancy setup, just a regular workplace where we keep things moving. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, but we manage. We handle all sorts of footwear and there’s always a lot of coming and going with deliveries. People often miss our turnoff because the industrial estate is quite big. We have a small team here. Some of us have been working together for years. It’s loud, dusty, and usually quite warm in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It's mostly just storage and a bit of desk work to keep the orders straight. Usually, we're focused on making sure the inventory matches what we're sending out. You’ll see us drinking tea near the entrance when things quiet down for a few minutes. It's a simple operation really. We just show up, do the work, and try to get everything out on time. The traffic on Mahakali Road is a constant backdrop to everything we do. It’s been our home for a long time now, and we know everyone in the nearby units.
