Libra Fashions Exports

Our place is located at D-53 in the Santi Shopping Centre, which is really close to the Mira Road East railway station. Being so near the station means there's always a lot of movement around us. We handle a lot of export work from this office. It’s not a retail shop where you’d come to browse the aisles; it’s more of a workspace where we get everything ready to send out. The office is a bit small for all the work we do, and we often have cardboard boxes stacked up near the door waiting for the courier to arrive. It gets a little cramped when a big shipment is going out, but we manage to find a way. My brother and I started this because we knew the clothing trade well, and Mira Road seemed like a practical spot for us to set up. We don't have any shiny signs or flashy lights, just the name on the door so people know they've reached the right place. Most people who come here are suppliers or people we’ve worked with for years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through fabric samples to make sure everything is right before it leaves the building. It’s hard work, and sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. We aren’t a huge corporation, just a small setup trying to do things properly. It’s a bit noisy with the trains nearby, but you get used to it.
