You can find Mineral Fashions Pvt Ltd over in Andheri East. We’re in the Solaris building, specifically unit B 37 on Saki Vihar Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot because we are right at the Maneja Crossing and directly opposite the L&T Gate No 6. It’s a very industrial part of town, always full of trucks and people commuting. Inside our unit, it’s all about clothes and fashion. We have racks of samples and rolls of fabric sitting around. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we are getting a new line ready, but that’s the nature of the business. The light in the Solaris building is actually quite good for looking at colors. We spend a lot of time checking hems and buttons. It isn’t a high-end boutique feel; it’s more of a working office where the real production planning happens. Being near the L&T gate makes it easy to give directions, though the traffic at the crossing can be a nightmare in the evenings. We’ve got a small team here who just focus on the garments. We don't spend much time on fancy advertising. We just make sure the clothes are done right. It's a lot of practical work, measuring things out and talking to suppliers on the phone. It's a lot of physical work moving boxes and fabric rolls around every morning. We keep the kettle going most of the day to keep us moving.
