We've been at 141 102 Sher E Punjab Soc for a while now. Being next to Tolani College in Andheri East means there's always a lot of activity outside our door. We spend most of our mornings sitting around the office here, answering phone calls and trying to sort out schedules for upcoming functions. It gets pretty loud sometimes with the college students walking past, but we've gotten used to it over the years. The office isn't fancy, just a few desks and a lot of folders stacked up in the corner. We mostly handle things for people around the neighborhood, though we do get calls from further out in Mumbai too. Organizing an event takes a lot of legwork, so one of us is usually out on the street while the other stays back to handle the paperwork. It’s a small team here at Mindspace Events (India) Pvt Ltd. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's just us trying to make sure things run on time. Sometimes the internet acts up, or a delivery is late, and we have to scramble to fix it. That's just how it goes when you’re working in this part of town. We keep a kettle in the back for tea because the days can get long. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just like doing the work and seeing a project through from start to finish. If you walk past the society building, you'll probably see our sign. It's a busy spot but we like it here.
