Mimicry Artist And Comedian

We are based in the Saudagar Building over on B J Road in Mahalaxmi. It’s right opposite Valencia Park. This isn't really a normal office. It’s more of a place where we rehearse, keep costumes, and take bookings for shows. Being a mimicry artist in Mumbai means you are always on the move, going from one event to another. We’ve been in this building for a good while. It’s an old place, and sometimes the lift doesn't work, so we have to carry the sound gear up the stairs. That’s life in Mahalaxmi, I guess. We do a lot of comedy sets and voices for all sorts of gatherings like weddings, local festivals, or even private parties. Sometimes the jokes land perfectly, and sometimes the crowd is a bit tough, but we just keep going. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. People usually just call the number or stop by the building to see if we’re free for a date. The room is full of random props and scripts scribbled on pieces of paper. It gets a bit noisy when we are practicing new voices, but the neighbors don't seem to mind too much. It’s a bit of a scramble to stay busy, but we manage to keep the calendar fairly full. It’s just about making people laugh at the end of the day. We try to stay humble and keep working.
