You can find us at the Papa Industrial Estate on Suren Road. It is unit 40, right in the heart of Andheri East, which as everyone knows, is always crowded and moving fast. The estate itself has that old industrial feel to it, with narrow lanes and plenty of activity from the neighbors. We have been operating out of this space for quite a while now. Inside our walls, things are a bit more controlled because of the nature of pharmaceutical work. We spend a lot of time making sure everything is wiped down and the machines are running exactly how they should. There is a lot of paperwork involved in what we do, so there are always stacks of files on the desks near the front. The staff here is used to the hum of the cooling systems and the specific smell of a clean facility. We usually eat our lunch in turns because someone always needs to be watching the floor. It is not a glamorous job, but it is consistent. We see the same faces every morning at the gate, and we have gotten to know the tea stall guy right outside the estate pretty well. When the shipments go out, the narrow road gets even more blocked up with the delivery vans. We just try to get things packed right and out the door on time. It is just us doing our daily rounds in a busy corner of Mumbai.
