Mid Way Courier

Our small office is on the ground floor of Vasudev Me in Colaba, right on the 80 Feet Road. We’re near the Srinivasanagar Circle, and you can usually smell the fresh bread from Rajdhani Bakery nearby, which is quite nice during the morning shift. Being on the ground floor at 30/F makes it easy for the delivery guys to pop in and out with their bags. It’s a small space, mostly filled with weighing scales, brown tape, and stacks of envelopes waiting to be sorted. It’s not the most glamorous job, but we keep things moving. We deal with a lot of people from the local neighborhood who need to send stuff to their relatives or businesses nearby. The traffic outside on the 80 Feet Road can get really loud, especially in the afternoons, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t have a big fancy tracking screen on the wall; we just use our logbooks and the computer. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. Some days the packages are piled up to the ceiling and we have to be careful where we step. We try our best to keep track of everything without making things too complicated. We aren't a massive international chain, just a local spot where you can drop off a parcel and know who is handling it. It's a bit dusty and crowded, but it's where we work every day. We just focus on getting the boxes to the right place.
