This office is right on the Sion Bandra Link Road, specifically at number 7 in Nabi Nagar, Dharavi. It is a loud spot because of all the trucks and cars going past all day long. We deal with boxes and crates mostly. People are always coming in and out asking where their stuff is or when the next vehicle is leaving. It is a bit of a maze around here with all the small lanes, but we have been in this spot long enough to know the shortcuts. There is always a stack of paperwork on the desk that needs sorting through. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or checking on schedules. It isn't the kind of place where things stay quiet for long. Someone is always moving something heavy or shouting out a delivery address. We just keep things moving from one point to another without making too much of a fuss about it. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take a break when the heat gets to be too much in the afternoons. Logistics is basically just about making sure things don't get lost in the middle of all this city chaos. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of work to finish before the sun goes down. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
