Mehul Mishti Bahar

We are located in Kandivali West at Shop No 31, which is part of Building No 1 in the C W section. It’s a quiet little corner where we focus on making mishti and other sweets. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use the space we have very carefully. Most of our day involves working with milk and sugar in the back. We have large pots that are always on the stove. It gets quite hot in there, especially in the summer. We aren't part of any big chain of stores. This is just our one spot where we do everything ourselves. The display case is right at the front so people can see what we have as they walk past. Sometimes we don't have everything on the menu because we only make small batches to keep things fresh. We have a few regulars from the building who come in every evening for a little treat. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the sign outside is a bit faded from the sun. We don't mind that much as long as the food is good. Kandivali West has a lot of places to eat, but we just try to do our own thing here. It’s a simple business and we like the routine of opening up, preparing the milk, and serving the neighborhood. The mornings are usually spent boiling the milk until it's just right.
