Medicine Centre

Medicine Centre is located at Shop No.-291 on Shaikh Memon Street. This is right in the heart of the Zaveri Bazar-Kalbadevi area in Mumbai. It’s a very old and crowded part of the city, and the streets are usually packed with vendors and shoppers. Our shop is just one of many small businesses in this busy district. The building is quite old, and you can see the history in the narrow hallways and the way the shops are tucked together. Shaikh Memon Street is always buzzing with activity, from early morning until late at night. Inside Medicine Centre, we have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, filled with all sorts of things. The floor is made of old stone, and it shows the wear of many years. We have a small wooden counter where we do all our work. It can get very hot and humid in Kalbadevi, so we usually have a small fan running behind the counter to stay cool. We don't have a lot of space, but we make the most of what we have. Most of the people who come in are regulars who have been living or working in Zaveri Bazar for decades. We don't use any fancy technology, just our ledgers and some pens. It’s a traditional way of doing things in a very traditional part of Mumbai.
