We are located at Shop No. 12 and 13 inside the Shiv Shankar Cooperative Society Compound. It’s right near the Muthoot Finance building on Barrister Nath Pai Marg in Mazgaon. The compound is always full of people and parked scooters. Since we have two shops next to each other, we use one for the actual office and the other one for storing whatever we are moving that week. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big shipment in. You have to walk around the stacks of boxes carefully so you don't trip. The air in Mazgaon has that salt smell from being near the water. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking their paperwork at the front desk. It’s a busy atmosphere with people coming in to talk about orders. We have a small electric kettle for tea, and it’s basically running all day long. Sometimes the compound gets a bit noisy with all the different businesses operating so close together, but we are used to it by now. We don't have fancy furniture or anything. Just some sturdy shelves and a few chairs that have seen better days. It's a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We just make sure the tallies are right and the goods are handled properly before they leave for the docks or the warehouse nearby.
