Massawi Micro Minerals Pvt. Ltd.

Our office for Massawi Micro Minerals is actually located right above the Phoenix Hyundai showroom in Kurla East. It’s on the first floor, right across from Buntar Bhavan in Qureshi Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise from the street and the dealership downstairs. We deal with minerals, which sounds very technical, but mostly it involves a lot of logistics and checking samples. The office isn't very large. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and jars of powders and rocks sitting on the shelves. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs but we’re used to it. The area is always crowded with cars and people moving about, which can make parking a real headache if you come at the wrong time. We’ve been in this Kurla spot for a few years now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or tracking shipments coming in from the mines. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of coordination and making sure the grades are right. We keep some tea and biscuits for when visitors drop by, though most of our business happens over the internet these days. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of the mineral market without making too much of a fuss. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just sit and wait or use our phones to keep working. It is a simple life.
