You can find Bangkok Fashions at No. 54 Ebrahim Muhammed Merchant Road. We are situated right near the Khadak Masjid West. It is a very busy street, especially during prayer times when the whole area fills up with people. The noise of the market is something you just get used to after a few days. Our shop is on the ground floor, so it is easy to step inside from the pavement. It is a bit narrow inside, but we make the most of the space we have. We have shelves lined with all sorts of things and the lighting is just some simple tubelights. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of wall fans that do their best. There is a small tea shop just two doors down where we get our morning chai. The street outside is always full of vendors and shoppers, so there is never a dull moment. We do not have a big fancy sign, just the name Bangkok Fashions above the door. Most of our customers are people who are already in the area for the mosque or the market. We have a small desk in the back where we keep our accounts and take a break. It is a humble little spot, but it has been our home for years. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay organized.
