Swathi Impex

If you have ever been to Masjid Bunder, you know how packed it gets. That is where Swathi Impex is, specifically at No. 2/17 Abdul Rehman Street. This street is legendary for being crowded and loud, and we are right in the thick of it. Our shop is small, and every inch of wall space is covered with shelves. We have boxes stacked almost to the ceiling most of the time. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is. The area outside is a constant stream of carts, delivery people, and shoppers looking for a deal. We have been here through many seasons, and the rhythm of the market is something you just get used to. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have learned to work in tight spaces without bumping into each other too much. We do a lot of trading, so the phone is always ringing and we are always writing out bills by hand or on the old computer. The humidity can be tough in the summer, and the street gets quite messy when it rains, but Masjid Bunder has a spirit you won't find anywhere else. We don't have a fancy storefront with bright lights. Most people find us because they have been coming to Abdul Rehman Street for years and know our door. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but this is our spot.
