Our office is situated at No. 412 and 413 in the Mandvi Navjeevan building on Kazi Sayed Street. If you have ever been to the Masjid area in Mumbai, you know how busy and cramped it can be. There are people everywhere and the smell of spices and goods from the wholesale market is always in the air. We handle import and export tasks from here. Most of our day is spent at our desks, dealing with a lot of paperwork and talking to people on the phone about shipments. The office itself is quite old and we have stacks of files everywhere you look. It is not a polished corporate environment. It’s a working office in a very old part of the city. The stairs in the building are steep and the elevators don't always work like they should. We have a small group of people working here and we have all been together for a while. Outside, the street is so narrow that trucks often get stuck, creating a lot of noise and shouting. We just focus on our work and try to stay organized amidst all the chaos of the market. We don't have any big plans to become some giant company. We just want to get the goods moved and the papers signed. It is a busy, noisy, and very real way to spend our working days every single week. We have been here for a long time.
