Smart Fashion Mumbai

Our office is up on the first floor of building 334 on I. R. Road. It’s office number 6, right near Pydhoniemasjid Bundar. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway can be a little dark sometimes. Smart Fashion Mumbai has been operating from this spot for a good bit now. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work. Most of the room is taken up by desks and samples of what we’re working on. It’s usually pretty quiet until the phones start ringing or someone drops off a delivery. We’re right in the heart of a very busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always noise coming in from the street. You can hear the horns and the people shouting all day long. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls or anything like that. It’s just a workspace. We spend a lot of time checking over garments and talking to suppliers. Sometimes things get delayed because of the traffic outside, which is just part of living here. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people find us through someone they know. We like it that way. It keeps things simple. If you're looking for us, just look for the old building near the masjid. We’re usually here from morning until late evening. It’s a lot of hard work, but we’ve got a good routine going after all this time. We don't have a fancy lobby, so if you come by, you'll just walk straight into our work area.
