Marquee

Marquee is our business based in Kandivali West at number 146. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. We don't have a huge office or a bunch of receptionists. It’s just a straightforward place where we get our work done every day. The area of Kandivali is always moving, so there is never a dull moment outside our door. We’ve been at this location for a good number of years. We know the people who run the shops next to us and the regulars who walk past every morning. Our space is functional rather than pretty. We have what we need to operate, and that’s about it. We don't spend our time thinking about missions or big corporate goals. We just focus on the customers who come through the door and the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes the rains make it hard to get here, but we usually manage to open up on time. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because it keeps things manageable. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on being consistent and honest with the people we deal with. It’s a regular job for us. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent business in our local neighborhood. Every day brings something new, and we just take it as it comes without making a big deal out of it. We keep our overheads low.
