Lavina Exports

Our place is in the Mittal Industrial Estate, specifically at 6/131. If you know Marol Naka on the Andheri-kurla Road, then you know exactly how hectic it gets around here. The trucks are always moving in and out of the estate and the noise from the street never really stops. We are tucked inside one of the units where we handle all the export stuff. It’s mostly just stacks of boxes and people checking lists. There isn’t much to look at in terms of decor because we use every inch of space for storage or packing. The air conditioning struggles a bit when it gets really hot in Mumbai but we manage. We’ve got a small desk near the entrance for paperwork and a phone that rings quite a lot during the day. Sometimes deliveries get delayed because of the traffic on the main road outside but we try to stay on top of the schedule as much as possible. It is a very industrial atmosphere with a lot of concrete and metal. We have been in this spot for quite some time now so we know all the other neighbors in the estate. It’s a lot of hard work and not much sitting around. If you walk in you’ll probably see us taping up cartons or loading something onto a trolley to be moved out.
