Mark Sound

You can find Mark Sound on the 3rd floor of the Kala Mandir Building. We are right in I C Colony, across from the Oriental Hotel in Borivili West. It’s a bit of a walk up if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We’ve been in this building for a while now. The space is mostly filled with sound boards, speakers, and a lot of black cables. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. People come up here to talk about their events or just to check out what gear we have available. Being in Borivili West is convenient because most of our work is around this side of town. We spend a lot of time just checking the levels and making sure nothing is broken. It’s a lot of manual labor, carrying boxes up and down. My cousin helps out when things get busy. We don’t really have a big staff. It’s just us doing the work. The view from the third floor is okay, you can see the hotel across the street. We usually have the radio on while we work. It’s just a normal sound business. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just making sure the audio works for whoever needs it. Some days are long, especially during the wedding season. We just keep going until the work is done and then we head home. It gets dusty with all the equipment, so we clean up a bit on Saturdays.
