Royal Chemists is tucked away in 89-a Queen’s Chambers on M. Karve Road. We are right in the Marine Lines area, which is a very historic part of Mumbai. The building itself has that old-school charm with high ceilings and heavy doors. We’ve been serving the local community here for a long time. People come in for their prescriptions or just to get some basic health supplies. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot onto the shelves. You have to be careful not to knock anything over when you’re walking through the aisles. It gets quite busy in the evenings when people are heading home from the station. We know many of our customers by name because they’ve been coming to us for years. My family has been involved in this for a while, so it feels more like a home than a business sometimes. We don't have any of those bright, neon signs or modern displays. It’s just wooden counters and glass cabinets. Marine Lines is a great spot, even if it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside. We spend our day sorting out stock and talking to people who need advice on their meds. It’s a simple life behind the counter. We just want to make sure everyone gets what they need before we close up for the night. It’s a good, honest way to make a living in the city and keep the neighbors healthy.
