You can find us at Raj Shiva in A Wing, specifically Flat No 204. We are situated on Ankurli Road in Dahisar, not too far from the Gokul Anand Hotel. Vadar Pada is a busy little pocket and we’ve been working from this flat for a bit. We do a lot of creative work here, mostly focused on making things that people need for their homes or events. It’s a regular apartment that we’ve turned into a workspace. There’s usually some fabric or materials lying around on the tables. It gets a bit cluttered when we have a big project going on, but we know where everything is. The light in the afternoon is pretty good for seeing what we are doing. We often hear the noise from the road, but it doesn't bother us much once we get started. People from the neighborhood know us and sometimes they just stop by to see what we're working on. It’s a small team, just a couple of us doing the actual making and fixing. We don’t have a shop front with big windows, just our workspace in the building. It feels more personal that way. We spend our mornings planning and the rest of the day actually building or sewing whatever needs to be done. It’s steady work and we like being in this part of Dahisar. It’s a quiet life but we are always making something new for someone.
