We are over in Dahisar, specifically in Anand Nagar. Our office is Shop No 4 in the A/3 building. It’s right across from the Municipal Market on C S Road. Because of the market, the mornings are always loud with trucks and vendors. We like the energy of the place though. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in. The shop isn't huge, but we’ve organized it with our drafting tables and some chairs for visitors. We do architecture work for the local area. Most of the time, we’re looking at blue prints or talking to laborers on the phone. The dust from the road comes in if we leave the door open, so we usually keep it shut. There’s a small fan that wobbles a bit, but it works. We’ve been in Dahisar for a good bit of time. People know us as the architects near the market. We don't do much advertising. Most people just see the sign when they’re out buying vegetables. It’s a very local way of doing business. We have our regulars who come in for advice on their renovations. Sometimes we just sit and talk about how the neighborhood is changing. It’s a simple life. We work hard, we close the shop, and we go home to our families. It’s just how things are for us here.
