Maithan International

Up on the third floor of Laxmi Plaza, things stay pretty busy for us at Maithan International. If you’ve ever tried to navigate the Laxmi Industrial Estate in Andheri West, you know how packed the Enw Link Road gets during the day. It’s a lot of climbing stairs and moving boxes through narrow hallways sometimes. Being in Andheri means there’s always something happening right outside the office window. We spend a lot of time on the phones and handling piles of paperwork for all the stuff moving through the system. It’s not a shiny showroom type of place. It’s more about folders, computers, and the constant hum of the air conditioner trying to keep up with the Mumbai humidity. We’ve got neighbours doing all sorts of different things in the same building, so there are always new people coming and going in the lobby. Sometimes the lift works fine, but other days it’s just better to take the stairs and get some exercise. Working at Maithan International doesn’t feel like a corporate movie. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized in a small space. We deal with various things every day, and it can get a bit cluttered with samples or documents piled up on the desks. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is close by, even if the traffic is a total nightmare most of the afternoon. It’s just how it is in this business area.
