Status Impex

Our place, Status Impex, is down in Mahim West. We are in the Aloo Paroo Trust Building, specifically at Shop Number 5. It is on the 2nd Cross Lane, which is right across from the J & K Bank. If you are looking for the bank, you will find us pretty easily. The shop is small, but it serves us well for the import and export work we do. Mahim is a crowded area, and the lanes can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We have a few shelves and a couple of old desks where we handle all the shipping documents and phone calls. It is mostly a lot of coordination and making sure things move from one place to another. The building itself is quite old, like most things in this part of town. We’ve been here for years, so we know the other shop owners on the lane quite well. It’s the kind of place where you can step out and get a tea right around the corner. We don’t have any fancy signs or neon lights. It is just a simple office where we spend our ten to six. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by delivery vans, but that is just part of being in Mahim. We just keep our heads down and make sure the orders are moving along like they should. It isn't a glamorous life, but we like being right here in the middle of everything.
