Red Arch Fashions

Our place, Red Arch Fashions, is over at Unit 308 on the 3rd Floor of Jagruti Industrial Estate. It is on Mogul Lane in Mahim West. Being in an industrial estate means it’s pretty loud during the day with all the different businesses going at once. We are up on the third floor, so we have to use the stairs or the lift when it’s working. The space is filled with machines and big tables for our work. We do a lot of fashion stuff here, so there is thread and fabric everywhere you look. Mahim West is a busy area, but once you get inside the estate, it feels a bit more like its own world. We have been in Unit 308 for some time. We aren’t interested in being a big corporate entity. We just want to get through the orders we have for the week. The light in the afternoon is actually quite nice through the windows. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work to keep things from being too quiet. Some of the guys have worked here for years. We know the neighbors in the other units, and we sometimes share a tea in the hallway. It’s a practical way to earn a living. Mogul Lane is easy to find if you are coming from the station side. We just keep doing what we do every day. There is always plenty of work to keep us occupied.
