Mahendra Shah

My office is at Bungalow No 9, Bhagwati Niwas, right in the heart of Chembur. It’s directly opposite the Shoppers Stop, so it’s pretty easy for people to find me even if they aren't from around here. I’ve been working out of this space for quite some time now. It’s not a corporate building, just a regular place where I handle my daily business. I go by Mahendra Shah, and I’ve mostly built my reputation through word of mouth in the neighborhood. People stop by to discuss various matters, sometimes just for a quick chat about local news before we get down to work. The bungalow has a bit of character to it, unlike those modern steel and glass towers you see popping up everywhere. I like the pace here in Chembur. It’s busy but still feels like a community. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, files, and the usual paperwork you’d expect. I don’t believe in overcomplicating things with big words or confusing terms. I just tell people how things are and we go from there. Some days the phone doesn't stop, and other days it’s peaceful enough to catch up on reading. It’s a simple setup but it works for what I do. Being across from the big store means there's always life on the street outside, which is nice to see from the window while I'm working on files. I plan to stay right here for as long as I can.
