Mahavir Farshan

We have been here at Shop 5/B on J V Road in Ghatkopar West for a while now. Most folks around Khot Lane know where we are. We make snacks. It's mostly the dry stuff people like to have with tea or when guests come over unexpectedly. The shop isn't fancy, just a regular place where we keep the shelves stocked with different types of farshan. My father started things, and now we just keep it going every day. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from the station. We start early in the morning to make sure everything is fresh. Sometimes the bags aren't perfectly aligned on the shelves because we're moving fast, but that's just how it is here. You can find us right there near the corner. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just walk in, ask for a half kilo of this or that, and we wrap it up in paper or plastic bags. It is a simple business. The fans hum all day and the smell of gram flour is always in the air. If you are walking down Khot Lane, you’ll see our sign. We try to keep things clean and keep the bins full. Nothing too complicated about it. We are just a local shop doing what we know how to do for the neighbors here in Ghatkopar. We keep the glass jars filled and the floor swept when we can.
