Madhuram Exports

Madhuram Exports operates out of Rubi Apartment. We are on the seventh floor, room 704-a. It’s right across from the Sukh Sagar Hotel in Mahavir Nagar. Kandivali West is a crowded place so there’s always something happening outside. Our office isn't very large. It’s mostly desks and stacks of export documents. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on shipments. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow so we wait a while. We started here because it’s a central spot for us. You can see the hotel from our window which is good for quick lunch breaks. It gets quite noisy with the traffic below. We deal with various items for export and the samples are kept in the cupboards. It's not a showroom or anything like that. Just a place where the work gets done. Most of the staff has been here for years. We know the neighbors in the building well. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't spend much on fancy decorations. The flat is basically just a workspace now. There are boxes in the corners and files on every table. It’s a busy life here in Mumbai. We just try to keep up with the daily tasks. If you come by, the apartment block is easy to spot near the main road.
