Madhu Arts

We are over in Vile Parle East, located at 7 A 42 in the Gautam Society on Mahant Road. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, which is a nice change from the busier parts of Mumbai. Mahant Road has a lot of trees and people walking their dogs or heading to the local shops. Madhu Arts is based right here in one of the society units. It’s not a big storefront on a main road, it’s more of a tucked-away spot. We have our workspace set up where we can focus on what we are making. Gautam Society has been around for quite some time, and it has that steady, lived-in feel to it. Being in 7 A 42 means we have a bit of a private corner to do our work. We don't have any flashy advertisements out front. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just knowing where we are on Mahant Road. The light in the morning is quite good for working. We spend most of our hours surrounded by our materials and our projects. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here. We like the fact that it’s peaceful. You can hear the birds in the morning before the city really wakes up. It’s just a simple place where we do our art and live our lives in Vile Parle East.
