Samrat Bag

Samrat Bag is tucked away in Shop No. 14 over at Haji Chawl on Morland Raod. It’s right in the heart of Madanpura, so it stays pretty lively around here. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of materials and finished bags. We spend most of our time at the workbenches, cutting and sewing. You can find us there almost any day of the week. The chawl has a lot of history and we are just one small part of it. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped with all the zippers and fabrics lying around, but we know where everything is. People from the neighborhood know they can just drop by if they're looking for something specific. We don't do much in the way of fancy talk. We just focus on making sure the handles are strong and the seams don't rip. Morland Raod can get quite congested, but that’s just life in Madanpura. We’ve been here long enough that we don't mind the noise. It’s just a local business doing what it does best. We take our time with the work and don't rush through things just to be fast. We just work.
