Maa Durga Pan Bhandar

Maa Durga Pan Bhandar is located right on J S S Road in Chira Bazar. We have been here at Kalbadevi 384/A for a long time now. Most people around here know the shop just by passing it every day on their way to work or the market. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, just a counter and the usual supplies. We spend most of the day rolling leaves and talking to the regulars who stop by after lunch. The traffic on this road never really stops, so it is always noisy. You get used to the sound of horns and people shouting. Sometimes the monsoon makes things difficult when the water starts splashing from the road, but we manage. We keep things simple. There isn’t a big team here, just a couple of us making sure everything is stocked up. We get our leaves fresh in the morning and try to get through the day. People come in for a quick chat or just to grab something and leave. It’s a busy area, so there is always someone standing around. We do not really have a big story to tell. It’s just a local shop doing what it does every day. Chira Bazar has changed a lot over the years, but this corner stays pretty much the same. We open up early and stay until the crowds thin out at night. That is just how it goes for us.
