You can find us in Prabhadevi, right at the 6th Cross in the 6th Block, at 101-A. It’s a busy little corner of the neighborhood. We start things pretty early in the morning because that’s when the cooking needs to happen. The smell of sugar and ghee usually fills up the space by the time the sun is up. We have the usual glass counters where we put everything out once it's ready. It’s a small shop, so it can get a bit crowded when a few people come in at the same time. We try to keep things moving quickly so nobody is standing around for too long. The floor is tile and we're always mopping it because things can get a bit sticky. We have some regular customers who have been coming to this part of Prabhadevi for years. They usually stop by for a chat while they wait. The shelves are filled with boxes of different sizes for when people want to take things home. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. The fan hums in the corner and we just keep busy with the orders. It’s a bit of a traditional setup, the kind of place that’s been around and just does its thing. We're just local people serving the local community. Sometimes we run out of things by the afternoon, but we just start fresh the next day. It’s a steady rhythm we’ve got going.
