M M Mithaiwala

Everyone in Malad East knows where M M Mithaiwala is located because it is right there where all the action happens. It is a loud and busy spot and we wouldn't have it any other way honestly. From the moment we open up there is a line of people looking for something to eat. We have trays and trays of sweets piled high and the workers are always moving fast to keep up with the orders. It gets pretty chaotic during the festival seasons but that is when the energy is the highest. You can hear the sounds of the station nearby and the shouting of vendors and it all just blends together. We don't really have time for a lot of talk because the next customer is always waiting right there. The floors get sticky and the counters are always being wiped down but it is a good kind of busy. We have been a part of this Malad landscape for so long that we feel like a landmark. People meet up outside our shop or use it as a point of reference when giving directions. It is just a place where you get your sweets and move on with your day. We focus on keeping the stock fresh and the service moving because nobody likes waiting in the Malad heat for too long. It takes a lot of effort to manage everything when the crowds get big but we manage.
