We are located at No. 138 Nagdevi Street, right near the busy Crawford Market. It’s an old building in a part of the city that never seems to go to sleep. Nagdevi Street is famous for all kinds of hardware and tools, but we’ve been here doing our own thing for many years. Our shop is quite narrow and the ceiling is high, filled with boxes from floor to top. It can be a bit of a struggle to find things sometimes, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. We deal with footwear and related items. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and shifting boxes around when customers come in. The street outside is always jammed with handcarts and people rushing by. We don't have a modern store with glass windows. It's more of a traditional setup where you just walk in and ask for what you need. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this street for decades. We have some old wooden chairs for people to sit on while they wait. It’s a very basic way of doing business, but it’s worked for us for a long time. There’s always the smell of tea and cardboard in the air. We just try to be helpful and give people what they are looking for without a lot of fuss. It isn't a fancy experience, but it’s real and we’ve been part of the Nagdevi community for a long time.
