M. J. Arts

We are located at 35, 2Nd Floor, B.J. Patel Road in Kanchpada, Malad West. It’s a busy little corner of Mumbai. Our space is on the second floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually jammed with traffic and people going to the station. M. J. Arts isn’t some big studio with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us working on different projects. We do a lot of manual work here, sometimes painting, sometimes crafting things for local events. The floors are often covered in scraps of paper or bits of paint, but that’s just how we work. It’s a creative mess most of the time. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and you'll probably see us busy at our desks or on the floor. The monsoon season is always a bit tricky because the dampness can affect some of the materials, so we have to be careful. We've been in Malad for quite a while now and we know the local shops where we get our supplies. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people nearby who know what we do. We try to keep things relaxed and friendly. If a job takes a bit longer because we want to get the colors right, we just tell the customer. People seem to appreciate that we aren't some big faceless company. We just enjoy making things.
