We are over in Goregaon East, at 17 Acme Amay. It’s near Udipi Vihar, which is where we usually go for a quick bite. The area is a bit of a maze with Pillappa Lane and the Jumma Majid Road Cross nearby. Logistics is just a fancy way of saying we move things from point A to point B. We have trucks and drivers coming in and out all the time. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes a truck is late or the weather is bad, and we have to figure it out. It’s not a desk job where you just sit quietly. There’s always someone calling about a delivery. We’ve been in Goregaon for quite a while now. We know the shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic, though that’s getting harder these days. The office is usually a bit messy with logs and schedules. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a gritty business. We deal with grease and fuel and heavy lifting. We don't make it sound like something it’s not. We just make sure the goods get where they need to go. It’s a lot of long hours but we are used to it. The coffee machine is always on because someone is usually working late to track a shipment across the state. We’ve been doing this out of Acme Amay for years and it feels like home.
