You can find us at No. 11 Vyapar Bhavan on P. D. Mello Road. It is an old part of the city and the building has that classic look to it. We handle both sugars and pharmaceutical supplies from this spot. It gets very crowded outside with all the trucks and loaders moving around the docks and warehouses. The air always smells a bit like the sea and dust. We are on the ground level mostly, dealing with paperwork and checking on orders. It is not a quiet place. People are always coming in and out. We have been working out of this office for quite some time. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We drink a lot of chai during the day to stay sharp. Sometimes the traffic on P. D. Mello Road makes it hard for visitors to reach us, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Just a simple nameplate. We focus on the daily numbers and making sure the inventory matches up. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists twice. The team is small but we know the routine well. It’s a steady kind of life here near the port. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work on our desks. It’s a lot of back and forth with the transporters.
