We are right in the middle of the chaos at M. J. Market in Kalbadevi. Our spot is at 219 Krishna Chowk. If you’ve ever been to Kalbadevi, you know how packed it is with people, carts, and rolls of fabric. M A Texfab is basically a part of that fabric world. Our office is small and usually stuffed with ledgers and cloth samples. We don't have room for anything extra. Every square inch is used for something related to the business. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and it’s always moving. We spend our time talking to traders and making sure our Texfab orders are moving through the market lanes. The smell of new cloth is everywhere. We don’t have fancy air conditioning that works all the time, just some old fans that do their best. It’s a traditional way of doing business here in Mumbai’s old market district. We’ve been part of this for a while and we know the rhythms of the chowk. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just buy, sell, and move textiles. If you can find your way through the narrow lanes to Krishna Chowk, you’ll see us there, probably arguing with a transporter or checking a bill. It's just the daily grind in a busy market.
