You can find us at Shop No 4/5 in Vaibhav Palace. It’s on the Malad Andheri Link Road, right across from Mega Mall. If you’re coming by bus, we are very close to the Oshiwara Bus Depot, so it’s easy to spot us when you get off. Jogeshwari West is a lively area, and this corner gets a lot of foot traffic. The shop is a busy place, especially around lunch and dinner time. We spend a lot of our time in the kitchen area getting things ready. It’s hot and loud, but that’s just how a food business works. We have a few tables out front where people can sit, though it gets crowded fast. The floors are usually being swept and the counters are always being wiped down. It’s a humble setup, nothing like those fancy restaurants you see in the mall across the street. We’re more interested in the cooking than the decor. You’ll hear the sounds of the traffic from the Link Road and the buses pulling into the depot all day long. Sometimes the rain pours down so hard we have to move the tables further back under the awning. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood just drop in. We’ve got our routine down, from the early morning deliveries to the late-night cleanup. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it. The smell of spices is always in the air here. It is just a real kitchen.
