We've been at the Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate for quite some time now. Lower Parel has changed a lot over the years, but our little spot in A/2 remains pretty much the same. Most days, it's just about getting the work done and making sure the accessories we put out are decent. It gets really busy around S. J. Marg, especially during the rains or peak hours when everyone is trying to get somewhere at the same time. We started Mumbai Accessory Pvt. Ltd. because we knew the trade, and it's been our daily bread ever since. The office isn't fancy at all, just a 205 unit where we keep our files and handle the day-to-day stuff. People come by, we talk business, and we try to keep things moving. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes sometimes, but that’s just how these industrial blocks are. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking or revolutionary, just sticking to what we know. My staff has been with me for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood turn into a hub of big glass buildings while we're still here in the older part of town. It’s loud, it’s crowded, but it’s home. We deal with all sorts of small parts and fittings that people need. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a desk and some chairs where we can sit down and work.
