Alkem Laboratories Ltd.

We are located on the third floor of Phoenix House over on Senapati Bapat Marg in Lower Parel. It is a busy part of the city and the noise from the street usually makes its way up here even with the windows shut. We have been in this building for quite a while now and most of the staff knows the security guards by their first names. The office itself is nothing too special to look at. We have rows of desks, some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them, and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. Working in the lab business means there is always a lot of paperwork to move around and boxes coming in and out. We spend most of our time just keeping things organized and making sure the records are right. Lower Parel has changed a lot since we started but our little corner of the floor stays pretty much the same. The elevators are a bit slow in the mornings so some of us just take the stairs to get the blood moving. It is a practical place to work and we just get on with what needs doing. We don't have any fancy lounge areas or anything like that. Just a place to sit, work, and maybe have a quick chat during the lunch break before getting back to the files. It gets the job done for us and that is what matters most at the end of the day.
