Live Wire Comm

You can find us over in Dadar East at Mathura Bhavan. We are on the second floor in room C/506. The Dadasaheb area is always packed with people, so it can be quite a struggle just to get to the building in the morning. Our office is not very large. It is mostly filled with wires, old computer parts, and desks that have seen better days. There are three of us working here most of the time. We handle different communication tasks. The phone rings a lot, and it can get pretty loud in such a small room. The ceiling fan makes a clicking noise that we have just learned to ignore. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It is just a place where we come to get the job done. Sometimes we go down to the local stall for snacks when we need a break. The stairs in the building are narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying equipment up to the second floor. There is a lot of paper piled up on the corner desk that nobody has touched in weeks. We have been in this spot for a few years now. It suits us because it is central. We stay until the work is finished, usually around seven or eight. Then we lock up and head into the Dadar traffic to go home.
