Light Metal Industries

Light Metal Industries is situated in Gala No. 13 in the Neha Grant Road area. We are in Grant Road East, specifically near Chikal Pada and RS Nimkar Marg. Our workspace is a typical Mumbai gala, which means it is a bit tight but we have everything we need to work with metal. We do various types of metal fabrication and small industrial parts. You can usually hear the sound of cutting and grinding if you are walking nearby. It’s a busy, old part of the city with narrow streets and lots of other small workshops. We have been here for a long time and know all the other business owners on the block. Our crew is small, just a few guys who are good with their hands. We don't have a separate office, so we usually just talk to people right there among the tools and materials. It’s a bit messy with metal scraps and oil, but that is the nature of the work. We don't try to look more important than we are. We just do the jobs that people bring to us, whether it is a small repair or a larger order of parts. Finding us can be a bit tricky if you don't know the area, but if you get to RS Nimkar Marg, you are very close. Just ask around for Gala 13. We are always around during the day. (244 words)
