Hindalco Industries Ltd

Our office is over at the Aditya Birla Center on S K Ahire Marg in Worli. It’s a busy part of the city, and the building is quite large, so it can be a bit confusing if you’re visiting for the first time. Hindalco Industries has been around for a long time, and many of us have worked here for years. The Worli area is always moving, and you can see the traffic from the windows. Inside, it’s mostly just people at their desks, talking on phones, or heading into meetings. We handle a lot of different things from this location, mostly coordinating what’s happening at the plants and making sure the numbers add up. It’s a lot of logistics and planning. We don’t really do much of the physical manufacturing here; that happens elsewhere. This is more of the hub where the paperwork and the decisions get handled. It can get pretty stressful when there are big deadlines, but we usually manage to get through it. There’s a canteen where most of us eat lunch, and that’s where you hear the real news about what’s going on. It’s not all fancy speeches; it’s mostly just regular people trying to keep a big operation running smoothly. We’ve seen the skyline of Worli change quite a bit over the years from these offices. It’s a solid place to work, even if the commute can be a bit of a pain sometimes. We just keep moving forward.
