Leonidas Fresh Belgian Chocolates

We’ve been running the shop here at Santacruz West 8 for some time now. It’s a small space, but we manage to keep a lot of different Belgian chocolates in the glass cases. Every morning, we check the temperature because if the AC slips up even a little, the chocolates start to lose that nice finish. It's mostly just us two or three working here. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and making sure the labels aren't crooked. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late because of the traffic on the main road, and we have to rush to get everything inside before the sun gets too high. People from the neighborhood stop in, some just to look and others to pick up a box for a birthday or something like that. We don't have a big fancy lounge, just the counter and the displays. We try to keep the floor clean, though people bring in a lot of dust from the street. It’s a quiet sort of job most days, except for the holidays when everyone seems to come in at once. We focus on keeping the stock on the shelves and the lights on. Sometimes we run out of the most popular ones and have to tell people to wait a few days. It is what it is. We’re just a local spot in Santacruz trying to do our thing without too much fuss.
